Dermatology Group provides comprehensive treatment for a broad
range of skin problems, from rashes to skin cancer. In this
setting, a correct dermatological diagnosis is the basis for
the most specific and effective therapies. We assure the success
of this goal by having an in-house Dermatopathology service,
directed by Marcelo G. Horenstein, M.D., a nationally and
internationally renowned expert in dermatopathological sciences.

Horenstein examines under the microscope the biopsies and
excisions performed by our dermatologists. He then discusses
more complex skin diagnoses and therapies with our staff dermatologists.
This close clinical-pathological partnership results in the
most accurate diagnoses for our patients. In addition, Dr.
Horenstein interprets the most sophisticated adjunct diagnostic
studies including immunohistochemistry, electron microscopy
and molecular techniques. Due to his expertise, Dr. Horenstein
also regularly receives consultations from other practices
throughout the country. |
