The Dermatology Group is proud to have Anita Fox, a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) as a member of our Medical Team.  Ms. Fox has worked as a Physician Assistant since 2007.  Prior to this she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the College of Staten Island.  Ms. Fox is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
If you have never been treated by a PA before, you may be surprised to see how much they can do. A PA works under the direction of a physician, handling routine care such as skin cancer examinations, ordering laboratory tests, biopsies, cryotherapy (freezing), wound closures (stitches), and writing prescriptions.
