The Dermatology Group is proud to have Gabriela Plesek-Andia, a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) as a member of our Medical Team. Ms. Plesek-Andia has worked as a Physician Assistant since 2000. Prior to this she earned a her Masters Degree in Science from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She followed up with a Certificate in Occupational and Environmental Medicine for Physician Assistants from Duke University . Ms. Plesek-Andia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and The New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants.

A PA works under the direction of a physician, handling routine care such as skin cancer examinations, ordering laboratory tests, biopsies, cryotherapy (freezing), wound closures (stitches), and writing prescriptions.
