Psoriasis
and eczema can be treated successfully, even if you’ve
struggled with it for years. The Dermatology Group offers
customized therapy to match the severity of your disease,
from topical creams to light therapy and injected medication.
Our office features a computer controlled full-body UVB/UVA
ultraviolet light box, which is just as effective as PUVA
but has less potential for long-term skin damage. In addition,
a specialized unit is available for patients with conditions
limited to their hands and feet.
If your disease is severe and systemic, we offer several medicines
to treat all of your psoriasis and eczema symptoms, including
psoriatic arthritis. The Dermatology Group’s connection
to major research centers ensures that we can offer new therapies
as soon as they’re available. In addition, we are often
involved in clinical trials for
new treatments. |

Finally,
we recognize that psoriasis and eczema affect more than your
skin. We coordinate our treatment with therapists to help
with the emotional issues it can cause, especially for children.
