Hyaluronic Acid is natural substance that exists in the human body that provides volume and fullness. Moderate to severe facial lines are smoothened and wrinkles are diminished with results lasting six months or longer. Restylane may also be used to plump up thin lips, eliminate vertical lip lines, and improve the appearance of acne scars.
The product is injected just below the surface of the skin, filling in unwanted lines and wrinkles and adding definition to the lip border. Recovery time is short, however some patients may experience mild temporary redness and swelling at the injection which resolves in two to three days.
